International Representation – 2026 Australian Open
We’re proud to have senior athletes competing at the 2026 Australian Open Championships on the Gold Coast this April, representing both club and country. Racing on the international stage is a key part of their development, and we’re excited to see them testing themselves against world-class competition as they push for further qualifying performances in a big year ahead.
Find out how we did the the NSW and Victoria Opens in earlier this term:

With so many new faces joining our United Swim Club community – welcome! – this is the perfect opportunity to come together, hear important updates, and see how you can help shape the future of the club.
👋 We Need You – and It Doesn’t Mean Joining the Committee!
As a not-for-profit organisation, United exists to promote, teach, and foster the development of swimming at all levels. But we can’t do it without YOU.
Every member’s contribution matters – and it goes beyond just paying fees.
We know not everyone has the time (or desire!) to join the committee – and that’s absolutely fine. However, there are many smaller but meaningful ways to get involved, and we’re looking for helping hands in these key areas:
– Club operations & admin
– Communications
– New member support
– Duties coordination & training
– Marketing & digital outreach
– Fundraising & sponsorship
Whether you’ve got an hour a month or can take on a short-term task, your skills could make a big difference.
One of our most urgent priorities is finding support in the areas of marketing, fundraising, and sponsorship. Like most clubs in Auckland, we continue to face rising costs – with the most significant being a sharp increase in pool hire fees in recent months. We remain committed to providing the best possible training opportunities for our swimmers and won’t compromise on that commitment. Our current fee structure doesn’t cover all operating costs, and rather than simply increasing fees – which we know isn’t viable for all families – we’re calling on the strength of our club community.
Can you help? Got experience in marketing? Know a business that might want to sponsor us? Have a knack for organising or admin? We’d love to hear from you!
Email us to let us know how you can help
Mark your calendars, join the AGM, and be part of the positive change that helps United Swimming Club thrive.
Thank you for being part of our community – see you (virtually!) on the 14th!
