United Timetable – 3 December to 22 December (AM)

Some good news finally – we are back in the EGGS and Olympic pools from this Friday!!

Attached (at the bottom of the post) is the new timetable from Friday 3^rd December through to 22^nd December (22/12 is morning only), still subject to final confirmation from our facilities providers.  

 This timetable is somewhat consistent with our past timetable – but please have a good look through.  Also note the following;

• There are some extra and revised sessions for our more junior squads in particular – which we encourage you to attend as many as possible! To get back to swimming fitness! 
• There is some ongoing utilisation of the AGGS outdoor facility for Seniors, Gold and ALL of Silver (we are now able to bring the entire silver squad to this facility by agreement with AGGS).
• For dryland, we will be doing this outdoors (not in the gyms). 
• If we do not get satisfactory attendance at the extra sessions provided, they will need to be cancelled – so please utilise this one-off opportunity!

Returning to the indoor pools requires strict compliance with Covid and also our facility provider’s rules.  In particular:-

• Anyone on site over 12 years 3 months must be double vaccinated.  This includes swimmers and parents.  United is responsible for maintaining these records and if you have not already done so, please email all covid vaccination certificates or official letters of exemption to unitedmeetentries@gmail.com urgently, as your swimmer will not be able to swim if we do not have this record.
• Full compliance with our Covid health and safety procedures as per the attached document at the bottom of this post.  Please read this carefully and discuss with your swimmer as this is very important.

There will be induction zoom meetings with all parents, coaches and swimmers, on Wednesday or Thursday night this week.  Your squad manager will advise the details.  Attendance is compulsory as we will be going through the health and safety protocols so that everyone is fully aware of how this will run.  There will also be parent managers on site as we settle into the site.

Our coaches will have a wider responsibility to implement these protocols.

We will consider if there are any opportunities to do official timing etc once we have settled back at the pools.

AFTER CHRISTMAS- SENIORS AND GOLD

There will be no training sessions provided for Seniors and Gold squad between Christmas and New Year.  Please enjoy a break, or, if you want to swim, one suggestion is that you could pay to enter the Olympic pools as a public member and your coach will be happy to provide a suggested swimming set to do.

There will be training provided on the 5^th, 6^th and 7^th January before camp.  Details will be advised in December.

AFTER CHRISTMAS- SILVER AND JUNIOR SQUADS

A survey will be released by coaches for requests for training for the 29^th, 30^th and 31^st December.  If there is sufficient interest, there will be one hour training provided daily. This is because the pinnacle  national swim meet is not far away and accordingly our coaches are keen to provide this training.

There will be training provided on the 5^th, 6^th and 7^th January before ‘camp’ starts.  Details will be advised in December.
